FiiO E9 and E7 Combo Desktop Headphone Amplifier and Dock for sale in Madison, WI
Up for sale is a single owned FiiO E17 headphone USB DAC and FiiO E9 headphone amp/dock unit. I am the original purchaser of both and purchased these retail new. These are both non-refurbished units with no functional issues. Both units are cosmetically clean with no scratches or dings. I only used this in a dedicated desktop setup and never pushed the units hard.This is an excellent all-in-one headphone DAC + amp solution that will improve the sound experience of any pair of headphones up to 300 ohms of resistance, such as the Sennheiser HD600/HD650/HD6XX and Beyerdynamic DT880/DT990.Both the E17 headphone DAC and E9 amp/dock are designed to be paired together, as shown in the photos. The E17 DAC is portable, but no longer maintains a battery charge on its own, so it can only be powered by docking it with the E9 headphone amp/dock. The E9 headphone amp uses an analog dial for adjusting the volume. While adjusting the volume dial on the amp, there will be a noise in the audio signal (only when changing the volume). This is not a defect, just a side effect of FiiO's analog volume controls, and this is how is behaved from the first day I owned it. The LED display on the E17 DAC is still bright and everything on screen still displays perfectly.The FiiO DAC and headphone amp/dock have excellent build quality with sturdy, brushed aluminum. I have had zero issues with both devices, but selling just to downsize my possessions.
