FUN FACT:
Our founders (Husband and wife duo) Tim and Diane Madden opened the first Dungarvin program, an ICF/MR serving 15 people, in St.
Paul, Minnesota, in March 1976.
Tim and Diane were the live-in houseparents for that first program.
Through the success of that program Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 4,000 people who currently provide supports to over 4,000 individuals across 14 states.

We're looking for a qualified Staff Accountant to keep our company and clients' numbers on track with unwavering accuracy.
The most successful people will have a natural passion for math, and a strong understanding of the intricacies of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial transactions within an organization.
He or she will play an enormously important supportive role, keeping our company and clients' financial outlook bright with precision and proactive measures.

Responsibilities:
Assist controller and staff with bank reconciliations, processing inter-company notices, performing accounts payable vendor accrualsAssist controller and staff with the monthly close processAssist the cost accountant with inter-company true ups and adjusting entriesPrepare month end reconciliationsPrepare schedules for year end auditPrepare sales and use tax filingsQualifications REQUIRED:
Two- year degree in accounting, finance or related field coupled with 4 years accounting experienceHands-on experience with accounting software packages, such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Peachtree/Sage, Solomon, Management Reporter, FRx and/or ForecasterIntermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups, Sumif functions and pivot tablesIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and proceduresAdditional Information WHATS EXCITING ABOUT THIS ROLE:
This new employee can expect to come in after year end so they will be able to have a nice transition into the role learning the whole accounting process from start to finish.
With the team being so large this employee has a unique opportunity to learn multiple states/business as well as approaches.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
Team consists of one supervisor and a team of 6 other staff (5 Sr.
Accountants and one Cost Analyst).
This role is available due to growth! This team comes with extensive tenure at the company most being with us for 10
years.
The manger noted that the team is very stable, even keel, independent and a well-oiled machine (all records in good shape).
REPORTS TO:
ControllerHOURS WORKED40 hours per week.
Monday- Friday 8:
00AM- 5:
00PM (FLEX).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
