BUDGET ANALYST - Title 32

As a BUDGET ANALYST - Title 32, GS-0560-9, you will serve as a budget analyst in a developmental capacity, performing assignments designed to further develop applicable analytical and evaluative skills and techniques. This is a developmental position with the full performance of Budget Analyst, GS-0560-11 Position Description D2232000. All training must be completed and regulatory requirements met prior to promotion. GENERAL
Experience:
Experience that prepares the applicant to perform the prescribed duties of the position. An applicant must demonstrate the following specialized experience competencies to qualify for a position identified by its applicable position description GS-Grade, financial management certification career level, and assigned military skills. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
To qualify for the GS-0560-09 level, applicant must have at least three months of basic finance budget training or competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures. The candidate must have some understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements. The highly qualified candidate must have at least 12 months of finance budget experiences and competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures. Candidate must have a good understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements. A candidate must have experiences and training that demonstrate the abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies and procedures. As a condition of continued employment in the GS-0560-09 position, dependent on the position's certification level and contingent on the employee's military rank, the employee must complete the higher financial management certification within 24 months of appointment to the position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
