Due to massive increase in growth a local technology firm is seeking the addition of an Engineering Manager/Project Manager for their Madison, WI office.
The Engineering Manager / Project Manager position will provide technical leadership to our design services teams as well as perform Project Management duties for select projects.
This position will be multi-faceted, and will require the ability to simultaneously manage software engineers as well as successfully execute multiple project responsibilities (project execution, business development, client interaction, and project financial management). The position will be responsible for providing architectural and design leadership, ensuring adherence to coding processes, maintaining maximum engineering efficiency, interfacing directly with customers, and ensuring project objectives are met. Candidates will need to possess good communication skills as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management, peers, clients and vendors.
Job Duties:
Provide leadership to a software engineering group, focusing on technical quality and adherence to processes.
Hold regular team meetings to verify progress on projects. Hold customer status review and technical meetings.
Identify areas of technical risk, develop mitigation plans and communicate to proper stake holders.
Lead internal program and design reviews.
Education /
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required (EE or CS); Advanced degree a plus
Software development experience in an embedded environment
Prior Project or team management experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
