Our client is a manufacturer of 3 piece cans for the food industry. They are growing and need to add another Production Supervisor to their staff on third shift because of a promotion. They are located within commuting distance of Madison. They run a 24 x 7 operation but to not rotate shifts. This is primarily a Monday through Friday position. This could be a either a second or third shift position. There will be some weekend coverage expected. This is a great area to raise a family.
Requirements:
1. 2
years of production supervision experience in the 3 piece can industry
2. The greater amount of education and training you have the better but the client understands that on the job experience counts for a lot.
3. Within the manufacturing of 3 piece cans, experience with welding is a must and and any experience with sheet metal cutting, stamping and coating is highly desired.
Duties:
1. Lead a team of 20 to 30 people in the welding area for the production of 3 piece cans.
2. Serve as a member of the production management team.
3. Help with hiring, training and coaching of team members
