Do you understand the LTL and Truckload industry? Are you organized, accurate, detail-oriented and deadline-driven? RateLinx is a thought-leader in customized shipping and logistics management software tools and consulting. This position focuses on running various requests for proposal (RFPs) for our customers and staying current on all local events within all the modes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee/coordinate/run all stages of freight RFPs for our customers.
Communicate effectively with carriers and customers regarding the RFP process.
Stay current on all local events within all the modes.
Participate in optimization design and model deployment.
Work on miscellaneous analytics requests.
Procure pricing agreements.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or related field.
Knowledge of LTL and Truckload industry.
Experience in carrier pricing, freight, transportation and supply chain preferred.
Ability to comprehend carrier pricing agreements.
Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.
Must be comfortable in the use of company proprietary software along with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and function well on a team.
Effective organization and prioritization skills.
Ability to be proactive and deadline-oriented.
Hours/
Benefits:
40 hours/week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
