Summary of Major Responsibilities
The Customer Service Associate provides outstanding service to health care providers, patients and the general public. This position will answer incoming calls related to product availability, use and performance and place outbound calls to educate patients on the proper use of our products and services. This position will support the order entry process and assist with new client account creation when workload requires. Inbound calls that are not handled in the Contact Center will be triaged to the appropriate department. This role reports to the Lead Customer Service Associate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Answers and responds to incoming calls and other inbound contacts.
Places outbound calls as required by the workflow and identifies and overcomes objections.
Manages and resolves customer complaints and identifies and escalates priority issues.
Provides customers with product and service information.
Recommends changes to ensure high quality customer service.
Stays current with relevant guidelines and policies for medical devices (e.g., HIPAA, Medical Device Reporting, etc.)
Ability to perform all essential responsibilities of the Customer Service Associate I position and perform them as directed.
Meets standards for production and accuracy within 6 months in shift date
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Four or more years of customer service experience, preferably in an inbound/outbound contact center in the healthcare industry.
Possesses a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and build strong working relationships with customers as well as peers at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing workload and circumstances effectively; able to respond to new information quickly.
Professionalism: conducts themselves in a professional manner in all interactions with members of the Clinical Laboratory team, clients and associates.
Desired Characteristics
2-3 years of experience in a contact center REQUIRED! Those with experience within the health care industry are preferred but appropriate contact center experience in other fields may be considered.
Demonstrated experience working in a customer service environment specialized in providing an exceptional customer experience.
Previous work in a laboratory environment is preferred.
Knowledge of contact center telephony and technology.
Shifts have yet to be determined but candidates should expect to work during weekends.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
