Dairy Production - Quality Assurance Manager

Ensure consistent production of safe, quality products by following corporate and government guidelines, as well as customer requirements when performing contract manufacturing jobs.
Activities:
Investigate consumer comments, collaborate with production teams to provide solutions based on feedback.
Oversee product tests including:
- Milk Urea Nitrogen Analysis
- Somatic Cell Counts
- Raw Milk Bacteria Tests
- Milk Component Analysis
- Enzymatic Bio-Analysis for Milk
Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards from the FDA, interface with government representatives and
work to establish good relationships with FDA inspectors.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology or related discipline.
Practical
Experience:
Minimum 3
years experience in Quality Assurance role for dairy production, or in a quality assurance lab position.
Ability to read and analyze scientific and technical journals and reports.
Familiarity with statistical process control is a plus.
