Quality Control Scientist

My name is Aric and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Quality Control Scientist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Madison,WI. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Day to day QC testing of different reagents and molecular biology products, focusing mostly on enzymes formulation and testing.
Perform routine and non-routine analytical and molecular biology assays to support release, characterization and stability testing of enzymes, reagents and Kits for biotech research use.
Careful documentation of laboratory procedures.
Analysis of data generated by functional and activity assays.
Participate in developing and validating testing methodology, revising and updating QC Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
Review data obtained for compliance to specifications and report abnormalities
Basic molecular biology laboratory skills such as pipetting, PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc. required.
Experience with DNA or RNA sample preparation, sequencing, qPCR and first of all enzymes activity assays, is a plus.
Experience and familiarity with instrumentation is a plus
