EH&S Manager - Foundry
Our client is a multi-plant foundry operation. They need a Manager of EH&S for a plant about one hour North of Madison. This role is open due to a promotion. This is a dynamic and growing organization that offers career growth.
EH&S Manager - Foundry.
Salary 70K - 100K.
Requirements:
1. Associate degree required and Bachelor degree preferred.
2. 3
years of EH&S experience in a heavy industry manufacturing plant. Foundry experience is desired.
3. Good testing regulatory compliance skills and environmental permitting.
4. Good understanding of manufacturing safety programs, policy administration and training.
5. At least 1 year of prior leadership skills supervising employees.
6. Good communication, computer and people skills.
Duties:
1. Take responsibility for all plant EH&S functions and compliance.
2. Lead a small staff (2 environmental technicians, a safety coordinator and 4 utility personnel).
3. Ensure complete and timely accident reporting.
4. Conduct safety inspections and environmental testing on a regular basis.
5. Recommend corrective action where necessary.
6. Train staff and maintain team preparedness.
7. Maintain all regulatory requirements.
