We're looking for an up and coming Quality Assurance Supervisor with food plant manufacturing experience. The plant is located approximately 45 minutes from Madison, WI.
In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for:
Implementation of all Food Safety and Quality Systems and processes; HACCP, GMP's; you'll lead the QA and lab teams by providing direction, mentorship and leadership to all you come across.
Reviewing all product, packaging, and raw material specs and make sure that all product that enters and leaves plant complies with company, customer, and regulatory specifications.
Ensuring that all non-conforming product is quarantined and disposed of, and appropriate testing, diagnostics, and processes are in place to minimize occurrences.
Developing and providing food safety and quality training needs to the entire plant and new employees


Act as an advisor to operations and production on QA / QC issues
You'll need the following background to be considered for this role:

years plus in a food processing and manufacturing facility
Subject matter expert in food safety and quality systems, food microbiology, and food chemistry; SQF practitioner and HAACP certification ideal but not required
Strong leadership skills, high level communication skills, and a curiosity for learning and an appetite for continuing education related to food safety and quality assurance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
