Study Technician - Dose Formulations - 3rd Shift NEW SCIENCE GRADS

Study Technicians for Covance learns how to review and interpret study protocol for test material formulation procedures and to ensure that a study tasks are conducted according with protocol, SOPs, and GLPs.

We are currently ONLY seeking applicants able to work 3rd shift (3AM - 11:45AM)

Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Learns how to perform study calculations and specific techniques for test material formulation.
o Learns study set up and management, data organization, QA audit response, internal and external client communication skills, and quality check procedures.
o Learns to serve as a lead tech; serves the role of secondary tech.
o Learns to use laboratory equipment appropriate for assigned tasks.
o Learns to prepare laboratory reagents, vehicles, diets, solution/suspensions, and capsules according to study protocols and SOPs.
o Learns the process of formulation verification and storage of prepared test materials.
o Learns to recognize deviations from normal results and informs Study Director, Principal Investigator, Formulations Coordinator and/or management of any problems and/or deviations that may affect the integrity of the data.
o Contributes to a cohesive team environment. Plans individual workload in coordination with team members.

Education/
Qualifications:
o Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry or related scientific field
o Experience may be substituted for education.
o Ability to perform basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
