Alliant Energy is currently recruiting for a Generation project development internship opportunity for Summer 2015. This position is part of the Generation Strategic Implementation group and can be located in either Madison, WI or Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, with flexible first shift hours.
As the Generation Project Development Intern, you will assist with process improvement projects via Six Sigma methodology and also gain exposure to environmental projects such as our coal combustion byproduct program. Additionally, you will be engaged with various exciting strategic initiatives supporting our Generation Leadership team.
We are looking for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Biology or Environmental related areas and who have completed their Sophomore or Junior year. A valid driver's license is also required as the position requires travel.
