Electronic Systems Documentation/Design Engineer
The Electronic Systems Design Engineer will serve as a key member within my client's Design Engineering team. In this role, you will develop and maintain hardware and software design documentation for numerous product platforms. Primary function of this position will be leading outside suppliers in collaborating on designs and validation.
Job Responsibilities Will Also Include:
Product Specification writing
Harness and schematic design
Prototype procurement and assembly
Software install and revision
Interpret and implement regulatory requirements
Support lab and engineering personnel in organization
Assist Test Engineering personnel in production environment
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics related field (i.e. - EE, EET, Computer Engineering/Computer Science)
3-5 years' professional experience
Technical Knowledge and understanding of engineering concepts / processes
MS Office experience
Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience leading suppliers to co-develop / collaborate on designs
Knowledge of sensors, motors, heating elements, displays, relays, embedded platforms
Hands on experience with soldering, wire harness assembly, electronics assembly, multi-meters, and oscilloscope, temperature measurement.
Previous circuit design work including both AC and DC systems
Familiar with documentation, collaboration and vaulting tools
Familiar with LINUX software platform
QT or other GUI language knowledge
SolidWorks and electrical CAD experience Manufacturing environment experience
