Our client manufactures enclosures for generators that are used by manufacturing plants, hospitals and oil drilling sites. Because of growth they need to add a Field Service Engineer to their staff. You will be servicing the enclosures, including their electrical systems but not the generators. There will be up to 40% travel throughout North America. They are located within commuting distance of N.E. Madison. If you are already local than you know this is a great area to raise a family.
Requirements:
1. 4
years of mechanical assembly and systems experience, including good troubleshooting and repair skills
2. At least basic electrical wiring systems experience
3. Experience working with customers
4. The ability to travel up to 25% of the time in the U.S. and Canada
Duties:
1. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems on company products in the field. This will largely involve either retrofitting or repairing damage
2. Maintain good report with customers
3. When not helping customers work within the plant on assemblies, work instructions, training of staff, and projects relevant to your talents.
