POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is, but is not limited to, the advanced configuration, development, implementation, testing, and deployment of web-based applications, business intelligence solutions and integration of applications and data with company systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
I. Development and testing of web-based applications using PHP, JAVA and web-services using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible based upon requirements and/or use cases.
II. Development and support within FileBound and PHP workflow applications
III. Development and support of the EDI web application set
IV. Development and support of the Data integration application set
V. Development of Business Intelligence-related web-based applications using multiple BI tools including BIRT
VI. Create prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for web sites and applications.
VII. Ensure that web-based applications are easy to navigate and are customer-focused throughout.
VIII. Participate in maintenance and updates to existing applications when requested; including update of content stored in various tables to support a rules-based delivery of web elements and data integration
IX. Support (issue resolution) of existing software applications, critical issues, and may be required to provide Tier I support during non-business hours.
X. Provide architecture guidance and design of new software and web applications
XI. Act as technical lead within a project lifecycle environment
XII. Assist in search engine optimization and registration.
XIII. Provide guidance on graphics, style sheets, and other design-oriented artifacts for integration into web applications.
XIV. Responsible for code review and mentor/knowledge other team members
XV. Responsible to work in a Linux environment, do advanced Apache administration, write/manage shell scripting procedures, advanced knowledge of file permissions required.
XVI. The individual will be working directly with project managers and analysts, and may speak directly to customers for requirements clarification, depending on the project.
XVII. Operate within guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures
XVIII. Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor and/or Management

Core Competencies:

I. Advanced experience in building web applications including graphic elements, overall organization and navigational structure, layout, development, usability of web pages and forms for ease-of-use, and search engine optimization.
II. Expert knowledge and considerable development experience with at least two or more of the following: PHP, Java, .NET, SQL, HTML, Javascript or other web development languages or standards.
Experience in Data manipulation, ETL and Data Integration technologies including Data Integrator, Mule ESB, etc.
IV. Experience with source code management tools (Subversion, etc.)
V. Advanced understanding of common design patterns and when they should be used
VI. Superior knowledge of relational database structure and design using one of SQL Server, Cache, or MySQL
VII. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash, CSS and JavaScript, XML, or other web application toolsets
Understanding of software development lifecycles/methodologies.
IX. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
X. Ability to develop accurate estimates and assist team and project managers with the estimation process
XI. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms, document requirements, develop specifications, and drive development methodology maturity.
XII. Must work well independently as well as in a team environment with strong attention to detail, schedules, and budgets
XV. Experience in the employee benefits, insurance, or financial industry is preferred

bachelor
's Degree in

Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience (6
yrs)
Certification in PHP, web development, graphics or software programming preferred
Certification in Data Warehousing and business intelligence preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
