Summary:
Our east side client, a large insurance company, is looking for a
computer
Technician to get computers ready for new employees. The
job
will require someone with some technical computer aptitude and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Background check is required and the company is a tobacco-free workplace. Hours will be first shift and fall between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Looking for someone who can make a long term commitment through 12/31/14.
Responsibilities:
Packaging and warehouse activities to deploy computers for users
Enter inventory and computer identification information into database
Assist with tracking reports on computer parts and numbers
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Solid XP and Windows 7 knowledge
Basic electrical and mechanical skills
Good computer skills
Good attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Good handwriting
Ability to work independently
Self-starter who can take initiativeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
