Job Description:
Responsible for plant operational systems in food operations including quality assurance, production, sanitation, maintenance, human resources, purchasing, and payroll. Direct supervision of all management personnel, indirect supervision of hourly personnel Responsible for all decisions in the plant Prepare and administer direct and overhead budgets Administer all correspondence and communications necessary to carry out company functions Interact, along with subordinates, to various counterparts at corporate level to meet goals and strategies Make recommendations on capital programs necessary to maintain cost efficiency and to achieve long range and strategic plan Responsible for strict compliance and administration of all company policies, rules, and regulations, as well as the same for federal, state, and local agencies Carry out program to ensure company status as a quality producer Responsible for compliance of all government regulations and necessary reporting requirements o Responsible for ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements, industry regulated standards and overall food safety and quality functions Supervise, mentor, and lead three managers in a 170 non-union employee, two shift, four production line operation
Qualifications:
5 years related plant general management experience Food manufacturing experience Supervisory and leadership experience B.S./B.A. preferred Greater Madison, WI area candidate preferred Recommended Skills Administration Communication Financial Management Food Safety Human Resources Leadership Apply to this job.
