Ancora Cafe and Bakery is seeking an Assistant Baker for a full time prep and production shift.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a bakery or similar food service environment, as well as a passion for baking and a strong work ethic.
This position is scheduled for an early morning shift (start time 1:
00 or 2:
00 AM).
Focus would be on production to support our bakery team.
If the candidate is interested in other aspects of the job there is also flexibility to possibly take on earlier or later shifts.

Responsibilities:
Prepare doughs, cookies, and pastries.
Follow recipes and baking procedures to ensure consistent quality Operate an oven to bake breads and croissants.
Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with other tasks as needed Ability to work as a team and communicate with other bakers Requirements:
Some (6 months or more) experience working in a kitchen or bakery setting Ability to work early morning shifts, starting as early as 1:
00 AM Attention to detail and a commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand for more than 4 hours and up to 8 hours at a time Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, insurance, and safe driving record Compensation:
$15.

00 an hour DOE Tip pool adds an additional $2-4/hour With tips, hourly range of $17-$22 hour Additional
