Position Information:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing a broad range of administrative duties and transactional support to ensure compliance with Standard Work.
The role will utilize various business systems including Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, and Procurement System to perform administrative duties.
The role will also support employee engagement initiatives including event coordination and actively participates in engagement committee meetings.
Maintains employee electronic personnel files via HRIS and responds to HR shared services inquiries and requests.
Learns HR policies and procedures to accurately responds to team member inquiries related to payroll, benefits, leave of absences, and HRIS.
Develops and maintains a strong understanding of the workflow within HRIS to ensure accurate submittal of employee and organizational changes, contingent worker contracts, and requisitions.
Develops instructional resources, as needed.
Attends HR meetings and trainings to ensure company compliance with company policies, procedures, and HR Standard Work.
Liaison between site leadership and temporary agencies to support recruiting efforts.
Conducts interviews and provides prompt feedback.
Monitors the longevity of contingent worker assignments to support legal compliance and financial objectives.
Coordinates and assists with the facilitation of new hire orientation.
Respond to leave of absence inquiries and monitor leave designation Outlook Inbox.
Regularly review claims in leave of absence management vendor portal.
Coordinates various HR-related employee meetings including annual performance calibrations, HR updates, annual employee engagement survey, feedback sessions, and trainings.
Maintains training attendance records.
Supports employee engagement initiatives including event coordination and actively participates in engagement committee meetings.
Runs reports on a regular schedule to support HR KPIs and trend reporting including:
headcount, turnover, leave of absences, and overtime.
Processes invoices through the procurement system for timely payment.
Create Purchase Orders (POs) when needed.
Maintains legal postings, employee bulletin boards, and electronic communication boards.
Processes all HR mail a forwards to designated departments.
What kind of experience do you need to succeed? High school diploma or equivalent required.
A bachelor's degree in human resources is highly preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish or Hmong, highly preferred Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience including conducting phone calls, email correspondences, data entry, electronic documentation management is required.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism required.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated sound judgment required.
Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel (i.
e.
Pivot tables) required.
Experience completing transactions in HRIS (i.
e.
WorkDay, SuccessFactors) is highly preferred.
