Business Systems Analyst

Summary:
The Business Analyst filling this position will play a key role on the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) (financials, and human capital management), one of the most visible and complex initiatives being undertaken by University of Wisconsin System.
As a member of the Ancillary System Team, this position will assist in determining integration solutioning for over 800
keep systems from across the Universities of Wisconsin institutions.
The activities will include, participating in the discovery (scoping/planning), architecting (design), configuration and prototyping (development), testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle for Workday integrations.
Additionally, the Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with integration architecture, data reporting, security, and engages other functional project managers under the direction of the Integration Lead.
This Business Analyst understands how to leverage applications and technology for competitive advantage and coordinates dynamic teams of individuals who meet business objectives and outcomes.
Serves as a leader within the project by participating in meetings, monitoring project quality, leading a team of developers through the software development lifecycle, and contributing to project status reporting.
Responsibilities:
Makes final determinations on systems requirements and technology selection and performs complex data analysis to ensure data management objectives are met.
Provides guidance to lower level staff and serves as a subject matter expert to leadership.
30% Provides direction for the mapping of business processes using advanced process-mapping methodologies 5% Makes recommendations in the selection of technology solutions to align with business strategies 5% Provides guidance to lower level staff in the design, development, and implementation of data reporting and business intelligence systems 5% Designs, develops, and implements complex data reporting and business intelligence systems 5% Provides advanced procedural and technical guidance to unit staff regarding technology usage and management 25% Performs complex data analyses and reporting 5% Serves as a project lead for lower level IT staff providing guidance on specific project goals, outcomes, and technological components 20% Communicates and coordinates with staff related to the project and/or system Institutional Statement on Diversity:

Ability to diagnose and solve highly complex problems with larger ERP systems.

100%It is anticipated this position will be remote and requires work be performed at an offsite, non-campus work location.
Appointment Type, Duration:
Terminal, 23 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding Salary:
Negotiable ANNUAL (12 months) Well qualified applicants can expect to earn between $90,000 - $115,000, with final salary based on experience and qualifications Additional Information:
