Our clients include large and small energy clients in the Electric Transmission, Oil & Gas and Renewable energy markets.
These clients include a wide range of entity types, ranging from large, investor-owned utilities to small, privately held development firms.
We support these clients and projects on a national scale, with a primary focus on projects and opportunities in the Midwest, Appalachian, and Northeast regions.
Verdanterra seeks an office administrator / human resources generalist to help support and implement our corporate culture.
This position requires a dynamic, self-starting professional with a knack for maintaining organizational excellence and a passion for fostering an empowering and encouraging workplace.
Our company has significant growth and expansion plans, and we need a talented and versatile individual to play an important role.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in not only ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our offices but also in shaping our company's human resources practices.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Supporting and implementing corporate culture.
Implementing and evaluating human resource policies, procedures, and structures.
Supporting hiring needs and recruitment process.
Onboarding new employees and conducting orientations.
Updating employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.
Maintaining records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files such as employee files.
Maintaining organizational charts and detailed job descriptions with salary records.
Developing and implementing HR policies throughout the organization.
Streamlining and organizing corporate processes and procedures.
Ensuring office activities and functions maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Managing and maintaining company and professional licensure.
Performing other related administrative duties as assigned to support general staff.
Assigning and completing administrative and clerical work as necessary.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field.
A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with recruiting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, or related software.
Positive attitude with good problem-solving abilities.
