is currently looking for a Yard/Warehouse Associate for our East location in Madison, WI.
This position will perform warehouse and yard functions to ensure the correct and efficient flow of inventory for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
Work in a challenging, fast-paced environment where no day is the same! Primary Duties:
Accurately receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
Verify correct part numbers and quantities.
Stock inventory in correct locations.
Pick inventory for customer orders ensuring correct item number and quantity.
Responsible for the efficient use of the storage and distribution facilities.
Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and verbal).
Requirements:
This is a traditional yard and warehouse environment which includes being inside and out.
There will be exposure to heat or cold due to seasonal changes.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Forklift experience beneficial.
Detailed oriented.
Valid Driver's License Required.
Must have excellent work attendance.
