The Wisconsin Department of Administration is seeking a Grants Specialist for the Wisconsin Relief Fund Program (WiRF).
This position is established by and for the support of funds allocated to Wisconsin under the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
Project positions are eligible for benefits including health insurance, but the incumbent does not attain permanent civil service status.
The incumbent must be a Wisconsin resident.
The funding for this project position ends April 25, 2026.

Position Summary This professional position performs program management, program planning, monitoring and evaluation, and policy and procedure development and provides recommendations on policies and procedures related to funds allocated to the State under H.
R.
1319, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
The position is responsible for a variety of high-level tasks including fiscal management of program activities, policy and data analysis, and interpretation of federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.

Salary Information This Grants Specialist Adv project position is in schedule - range 07-03 with a starting hourly rate between $27.
00-$33.
00 per hour depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits.
Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan Job Details Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct background checks on applicants prior to selection.
DOA does not sponsor work visas.
All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form.
This position will be headquartered at 101 E.
Wilson Street, Madison, WI 53703.
Certain positions may allow remote/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit.

For positions that do allow remote work flexibility, although residency in the State of Wisconsin is not required for permanent positions, it is not anticipated that working outside of WI or bordering cities will be allowed.

managing grant application processes developing grant application materials interpreting state and federal laws, policies and procedures.
