This position has flexibility to work remotely in Wisconsin, but will occasionally need to report to the headquarter office in downtown Madison.

Position Summary In this role, your key responsibilities will involve processing a variety of payment requests and accounts receivable using automated accounting systems and entering a broad variety of complex payment requests into the DWD/State automated accounting systems.
You will use your analytical and problem solving skills to address complex invoice problems, reimbursement and credit matters; address inquiries from vendors or contractors relating to payment/receipt status or other issues.

Salary Information Starting pay is $27.
96 per hour, plus excellent benefits.

A 12-month probationary period will be required.
The classification title for this position is Financial Specialist - Advanced (schedule 02, range 15).
This position is not represented in a collective bargaining unit.
Pay will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan in effect at the time of appointment.
Starting pay may vary for current state employees.
