Summary:
Provide direct guidance and leadership to the Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering and interactive engagement with the Sales Department.
Ensure consistent compliance with all Hotel Policies, Brand Standards and play the key role in driving quality guest service at all levels of hotel operations.
Responsible for the ongoing success of hotel operations in conjunction with and/ or in the absence of the General Manager.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
include the following.
Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Manage the daily and ongoing operations of the Front Office, staff, hiring, training, shift coverage, Night Audit and MOD Program.
Engagement with the Executive Housekeeper and operations of the Housekeeping Department.
Engagement with the Chief Engineer and operations of the Engineering Department.
Oversee the ordering, stocking and ongoing requirements of the Gift Shop area.
Interact with third-party Food & Beverage tenant (Marlow's Tavern) to provide support for all Brand-required food and beverage services and ensure standards are maintained.
Active engagement with and driving force behind maintenance of all Brand Standards to ensure successful semi-annual Quality Assurance Audit results.
Key liaison for third-party Security contractor.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Responsible for producing accurate and timely report relative to SALT service scores, expense controls and other items as requested by the General Manager.
When necessary and in conjunction with the Hotel Controller, verify accuracy of cash on hand, including safe, petty cash, and log any discrepancies on a daily basis.
Establish a service-focused culture through leading daily Huddle meetings with Front Office, Maintenance and Housekeeping staff.
Complete working knowledge of all Hotel systems including phone PBX system, Key system, PMS system, Public Space Music, Security Cameras and Legacy Hotel Partners' programs.
Knowledge and enforcement of Fire Alarm system and all Emergency Procedures.
Ensure security of guests, fellow team members and Hotel assets.
Must be CPR certified, MSDS trained, and complete all Brand-required specific training programs.
Working knowledge and understanding of P&L and annual Budgeting process.
Know and adhere to Legacy Hotel Partners, LLC and Brand-specific standards.
Must exhibit a professional demeanor and all times and lead by example.
Interact with internal and external customers in a positive, professional and accommodating manner.
Prepares month-end reporting and/or critiques as requested by the General Manager.
Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, team member issues etc.
Must perform any other required duties as requested by the General Manager to aid in better operation of the Hotel and service to the guests.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests, team members and community.
Be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies / rules of conduct, to include personal appearance / grooming, attendance and safe / efficient operations.

Education and/or
Experience:
College degree preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
