60% FTE, day/evening shift rotation, one in three weekend rotation.

Description:
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
Join a fast-paced cardiac unit that will provide extensive opportunities to learn and grow in caring for the cardiology patient population as well as the opportunity to work with new technology and state of the art equipment! Work on a unit with both general and intermediate level patients.
This cardiac/telemetry unit has been expanded to include a total of 23 beds with central monitors located throughout the unit.
Care for cardiology patients that may require diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art, non-surgical interventions for coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and dysrhythmia treatment.
The F4/5 team also partners with the cardiac cath lab team to care for cardiac cath lab procedure patients prior to or after their procedure.
This unit may also partner with the advanced heart failure service to provide medical management of pre-transplant patients.
Join nurses who work as a team and help one another succeed as well as support participation in shared governance, with a unit-based council to help support and drive quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.

Education:
Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Work
Experience:
Minimum - Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
Preferred - Relevant RN Experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
Current CPR/BLS Certification.
Obtain ACLS within six (6) months of hire.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
