Summary:
The CMA assists in providing and coordinating care for patients in podiatry.
Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN - Podiatry
Qualifications:
Current WI LPN license required CPR certification required Strong attention to detail required One-year experience in podiatry, internal medicine and/or family practice highly preferred Prior Epic experience preferred Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN - Podiatry
Responsibilities:
Rooms patients; assists in procedures; schedules tests/procedures; administers injections; performs orthotic scans, documents verbal orders; enters lab and medical imaging orders; preps charts and verifies key information; abstracts results; cleans and stocks rooms; and may assist with autoclaving.
Monitors and responds to MyChart requests, result notes, unviewed results, unread message alerts, etc.
Works the Epic In Basket and responds to non-symptom based calls from patients regarding refill requests, orthotics, DME, paperwork, immunization questions, etc.
Tracks key information and paperwork.
