ANALYST, EPIC Performance Improvement - ADVISORY SERVICES As a member of the Advisory practice, the Analyst will work closely with healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics and health systems) on workflow, process, and system improvements that support the activities performed and the quality of care delivered.
This position will work with the Advisory Services team and other business partners to provide end-user education and support, project coordination, and other duties as required by the healthcare system and Nordic.
Key Responsibilities Advising on, developing, and adopting standards, policies, and best practices related to Nordic's Advisory Services offerings Engaging in projects involving healthcare systems, complex academic medical centers, community-based hospitals, small clinic rollouts, and independent physician groups Designing training materials to conduct educational sessions with users to enhance their performance using specialized software Analyzing project requirements, creating materials, and executing on best practice processes to effectively move projects forward to a successful conclusion Conducting or assisting with detailed analysis to draw independent conclusions, and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations Collaborating with internal team members to continually enhance processes and workflows to improve business operations, client experience, and operational efficiency Responding to client requests in a professional manner using established methods and escalation processes, and documenting and retaining records of all meetings and/or education sessions Assisting with multiple projects while adhering to Nordic methodologies Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist in other initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested Skills and Experience - Required Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Ability to organize information, learn complex technologies, and explain concepts and instructions clearly and concisely Ability to apply problem-solving skills Microsoft Office experience, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Visio required; experience with SharePoint, Excel, and MS-Teams is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's maxims Superior ability to meet deadlines, adapt quickly to new work environments Ability to work successfully with different teams and at multiple levels of an organization as well as with diverse candidates, consultants and client bases Aptitude for mentoring and guiding others Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism, able to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and to alter approach or method to successfully lead change; reacting well under pressure Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines Must be able to work independently as well as within a team Skills and Experience - Preferred Experience in healthcare, adult education, project coordination/management, electronic medical record (EMR), business/systems analysis, or information systems/science preferred Knowledge of healthcare industry practices, HIPAA, and applicable data privacy and security practices preferred Additional Details Working in Madison, WI, is preferred but not required.
Trips to the Nordic Home Office in Madison, WI will be expected Travel up to 80 % of the time.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
