POSITION SUMMARY TRC is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager/Hydrogeologist for our Engineering, Construction & Remediation team in Madison, WI. This position will integrate into a well-developed team of environmental engineers, scientists, geologists, and hydrogeologists to provide support and lead projects. In addition, this position will build, develop, and grow business relationships and direct and manage the execution of projects. We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in the environmental field with an emphasis on project management, contaminated site investigations, remediation, groundwater modelling, hydrogeology, and environmental consulting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Support the management and growth of projects in the commercial, industrial, and public sectors of the environmental investigation, remediation, and redevelopment industry in Wisconsin and the Midwest. Typical consulting services managed in this position may include, but not be limited to Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, NR 700 investigation/remediation in Wisconsin, contaminated material management, brownfield redevelopment, and PFAS-related services. This position will have an approximate mix of 50% project management and 50% technical work (with 20% in the fieldwork). Conduct, support and lead a variety of field work activities, such as Phase I/II environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater environmental investigations, site inspections, and subcontractor oversight in the field or office. Accurately document and report activities. Conduct, support and lead collection of multimedia samples (air, water, soil, soil gas) for field and laboratory testing. Follow standard operating procedures and work plans, performing work in high quality and safe manner. Conduct hydrogeological analyses, site characterization, and develop conceptual site models incorporating site geology and hydrogeology. Contribute to technical reports, feasibility studies, work plans, design documents, compliance plans and permit applications. Support management of medium-to-large, complex projects and tasks to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Lead and assist development of proposals, including preparation of work scopes and budgets. Provide oversight, mentorship, and review of junior staff work products for regulatory compliance, technical accuracy, completeness, and quality. Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, clients, suppliers, contractors, and external agencies. Participate actively in business development activities by identifying opportunities, supporting proposal efforts, and proactively communicating with clients and prospects. Develop and successfully implement health and safety and quality management plans for each project. Travel periodically, possibly to remote locations. Ability to work independently and on a project team. Take an active role in personal professional development, including learning new skills QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must possess a bachelor's degree in Geology/Geoscience/Hydrogeology/Hydrology, or related field of study from an accredited university. 5 to 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting industry working on environmental projects including groundwater modelling, Phase I/II ESAs, soil, vapor, and groundwater investigations, contaminant chemistry, remediation, and risk assessment. Knowledge of vapor intrusion, emerging contaminants, or environmental permitting/compliance a plus. Knowledge and demonstrated experience with State and Federal environmental regulations (e.g., NR 700, CERCLA, TSCA, RCRA), standards (including ASTM E1527-13), and guidance documents for environmental site assessments, site characterization, soil and groundwater monitoring programs, and remediation of contaminated sites. Strong scientific and technical skills, including data collection, experimental design, data analysis and interpretation, and report writing. Capable of effectively managing field and office tasks to completion without supervision, including tasks involving coordination with subcontractors and staff from multiple TRC offices. Should possess solid technical and problem-solving skills. Must be willing to accept occasional short and long-term field assignments and must have a valid driver's license. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities. Ability to manage time independently, manage multiple project assignments, and to work effectively on a project team. Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that facilitate detailed planning, timely decision-making, and efficient implementation. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS Master of Science degree in relevant field and/or experience in hydrogeology, geohydrology, environmental or geo-engineering, and/or chemical fate and transport in the environment is preferred. Professional Geologist or Professional Hydrologist license in the State of Wisconsin preferred. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour refresher training preferred. Experience with MODFLOW and/or EVS is highly desired. Knowledge of ESRI or HydroCAD software a plus. Proven track record in developing and sustaining client relationships preferred. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
