Environmental Services Supervisor

The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of Custodians and LTE's doing comparable work in the Clinical Science Center, American Family Children's Hospital, and outside Clinics. The Environmental Services Supervisor directs, assigns tasks, and assesses their assigned work force. He/she reports to a shift manager or Department Director but has direct responsibility for the housekeeping services provided in their area of accountability.
Work Schedule: This position is 100% FTE or 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m with alternating weekends and holidays.

Education:
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Work
Experience:
One (1) year related work experience required.
Previous supervisory experience or experience in an acute care facility preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to ensure a high level of patient, visitor, employee and external customer satisfaction
Excellent customer service skills
Effective organizational and planning abilities
Effective leadership skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Physical Requirements:
Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
