Job Title:
Field Maintenance Worker
Rate of Pay:
$15 to $16 per hour to start
Full Time
Reports To:
Maintenance Supervisor
Experience Required:
Entry Level Position Starting ASAP
Qualifications & Hiring Requirements
This is an entry level position; full time; with the goal of having this person join our staff for years to come.
Must provide 3 references from recent jobs
Must be willing to go through drug testing and a background check
Excellent personal and customer service skills required
If you have a truck that is helpful but is not essential to being hired. You must however have a reliable vehicle
Appearance must be neat and clean and appropriate to the work being done
Must be physically able to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing.
Basic computer skills are required.
Must enjoy working independently (after training) and be extremely reliable.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Inspections of our properties
2. After hours emergency maintenance responses (on-call duties)
3. Painting and drywall repair
4. Assist other maintenance staff with a variety of tasks
5. Interaction with a variety of unit owners
6. Job set-up, management and clean-up
7. Generate and process paperwork detailed enough to enable billing of your work
8. Pool maintenance and testing during the summer months
9. Some clean-up of trash and the like is required from time to time on the grounds of our properties
10. General Handyman
11. Work with outside vendors doing work on our properties
12. Some snow shoveling is done in the winter months
13. Performs all work in accordance with company quality standards
Company Details
1. We pay our staff two times a month (on the 3rd& 18th) and use Paychex direct deposit
2. We will provide you with training on the company and our systems, training on pool maintenance and other tasks needed to service our customers.
3. There are three other maintenance staff in this department and Matt, the department head
4. CMA is a family owned property management company specializing in condominiums.
2015 is our 10th anniversary
5. CMA has 3 office staff to assist you while you are in the field
6. CMA cannot offer health insurance at this time
7. Our maintenance work is done in compliance with known OSHA Standards
8. We carry worker's compensation insurance on all our staff members
9. We also provide services to our unit owners when requested.
