The Maintenance and Scheduling Coordinator will own the equipment maintenance and calibration system, including database entry, report preparation, metrics generation, and organizing physical records. This position will be the principle contact and liaison between the Engineering group and other departments. This position will review and schedule work requests from supported departments (demand maintenance), plan and schedule preventative maintenance and calibration, produce estimates and maintain data on maintenance costs and labor requirements and maintain equipment history records in compliance with applicable regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Fully develop and manage assets and work orders through the Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS) software.
Ensure all physical documentation is organized and easily accessible for audits.
Coordinate customer maintenance and calibration schedules both internally and externally to
maximize facility efficiency.
Generate metrics reports and analyze trends for continuous improvement opportunities.
Receive incoming requests, manage and prioritize requests.
Maintain clear and complete records.
Manage and maintain the work flow process (work order creation, planning, scheduling, and
execution to minimize downtime.
Assist as necessary to maintain inventory for consumables, non-stocked parts, and tools to
support work orders. This may include generating and expediting purchase requests.
Assist Engineering group as a backup for limited Metrology functions.
Write and edit Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Mandatory Skills
Must be proficient in using basic software applications including Microsoft Office.
Experience utilizing software with basic CMMS functionality; record management, asset data,
scheduling, and work flow.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interface and work effectively with all levels of the organization, vendors, customers, etc.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously within defined timelines and
prioritize when necessary.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems including the ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
Knowledge of skilled trades to be able to estimate work hours and necessary materials.
Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills
Working knowledge of SAP.
Metrology experience.
Two to three years of maintenance planning/supervisory experience in the manufacturing
industry.
Experience analyzing and creating preventive maintenance procedures and practices.

Education and Experience
Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-3 years of work experience in a similar industry.
