RoleResponsibilities
Perform Web UI programming activities using modern web software technologies
Participate in pair programming for code reviews and problem solving
Research the latest Web technologies, including open source ones, providing comparisons and analysis
Work on solutions across multiple technology stacks (Java, NodeJS, Ruby, .NET, etc.)
Create guidance for best practices to be shared across multiple product teams
Requirements
3
years of software development experience using a variety of Web technologies
Strong programming competency in Web development including AngularJS, NodeJS and CoffeeScript
Ability to rapidly prototype solutions using a variety of technology stacks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented, organized, and able to work semi-independently
An understanding of Agile development methodologies
Preferences
Visual design and interaction design
Responsive design methodologies for tablet and mobile solutions
Platform and hosting solutions such as Heroku, AWS, etc
An understanding of the Git workflow and using GitHub for source code and issue management
