The Platform Delivery team is responsible for end-to-end delivery and support of infrastructure solutions to our customers. Working with Development, Product, and other Delivery teams, the candidate will deliver, maintain, and support an infrastructure solution that is technically sound, resilient to failure, operationally supportable, and meets the requirements of the business.
Delivery of new infrastructure solutions requires a variety of skills including infrastructure architecture, hands-on build-out and configuration of the infrastructure (Windows / VMWare), as well as a high degree of collaboration with Development and other Infrastructure teams to provide right level of agility within the delivery process.
Support of existing infrastructure solutions includes providing operational support and administration of Windows server and vSphere infrastructure, OS-level patch planning and coordination, capacity planning, Active Directory management, VMWare ESX/ESXi management and patching, and will address any other system quality issues for the existing Windows/VMWare environment.
The ideal candidate will leverage a consultative approach, exhibit strong leadership skills, will be forward thinking, and will be able to work effectively across a multitude of technical and non-technical groups in a diverse and talented team, continuously striving for excellence.
Essential Job Responsibilities
:
o Provide administrative support for Windows servers in a highly available, 24x7 enterprise environment
o Provisioning and deployment of new systems
o Work across several teams to restore service rapidly during an incident
o Collaborate across business and technical disciplines to develop Infrastructure / System Engineering Designs for internally hosted solutions.
o Technical leadership for project based assignments
o Providing technical documentation to project and Operations teams as part of project deliverables.
o Performance tuning, and crash dump analysis; Analyze the root cause of incidents
o Identify opportunities for system automation and process improvement
o Create in-depth documentation of processes and system configuration
o Provide and receive cross training to/from immediate support team
o Drive Continual Service Improvement
o Script development for repeatable processes (PowerShell, etc.)
Required
Qualifications:
Education
:
o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field OR a High School diploma and 5
years of professional work experience in a related role.

Job Related Experience
:
o Current, enterprise-class Infrastructure/ experience with Windows platforms, standalone or running on VMWare, utilizing directly attached and SAN attached storage.
o OS Troubleshooting
o Detailed Experience / Knowledge with many of the following:
o Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012,
o IIS
o MS SQL / MS SQL Clustering
o vSphere / ESX / ESXi
o Active Directory
o WebSphere MQ
o ConnectDirect
o SCCM / SCOM
o Experience designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
o Ability to produce high quality operational documentation, including Visio diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, as well as detailed instructions outlining the steps required to repeat the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure.
o Strong customer service skills with high level of professionalism, and ability to work with complex situations.
o Must be flexible and have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects or tasks
o Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
o Keen attention to detail
