Job Description:
Assembles, checks for proper function, identifies malfunctions of equipment, and takes action to correct malfunctions of equipment. Collects and evaluates additional pertinent clinical information by assessing patient's overall cardiopulmonary status. Conducts therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate spontaneous and artificial ventilation. Conducts therapeutic procedures to achieve maintenance of patient airway, including the care of artificial airways and to achieve removal of bronchial pulmonary secretions., Determines the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory care plan, recommends modifications where indicated, and participates in development of respiratory care plan. Evaluates and monitors patient's response to respiratory care. Explains care plan, therapy, and goals to patient, maintaining records of communication. Initiates, conducts, or modifies respiratory care techniques in an emergency setting. Makes necessary modifications in therapeutic procedures and recommends respiratory care plan modifications based on patient response. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 2
years of Respiratory experience NICU experience required BLS AHA ACLS AHA PALS AHA WI License:
