Summary:
Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role within our manufacturing plant and supports our production team to drive production while maintaining high standards for safety, quality and efficiency standards.
This position is will ensure that all machinery and mechanical equipment are operating during production to achieve company goals.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on refrigeration equipment, HVAC, towers, air compressor, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments utilizing root cause analysis tools.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education:
Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment of 30 F to 45 F up to 12 hours.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must pay attention to detail Must be able to be a cross functional Must be able to work in a team environment Must be able to manage people Must have people and communication skills.
Experience:
3 years of experience working with Machine in a food manufacturing/frozen food 2 years of experience working with air compressors, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors and production machines.
