My client is a multi-billion dollar GC looking to expand its presence in the Madison,WI area as soon as possible. They have experience in education, healthcare, senior living, solar, publice works and more. They are ranked top 100 on ENR's top contrators list.


Description


  • Manage all day-to-day field activities.
  • Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions in order to execute appropriate bids.
  • Lead the team with appropriate construction project planning and developing site logistics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with municipalities for potential future business.
  • Schedule on-site inspections as needed along with the jobs site.
  • Review all bids for work, as well as supervising the inspection of work.
  • Ensure all proper signage is posted on the construction job site, and all safety requirements.
  • Work closely with job investors and maintain professional attitude.
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
  • Keep daily and weekly construction work logs.
  • Ensure good time management and to have timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor job subcontractors to ensure safety guidelines are met.

Profile


  • 5
    years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
  • OSHA certified.
  • Experience leading and scheduling integrated teams.
  • Multi-family, ground-up or TI required.
  • Proficiency in Procore.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • True leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or one similar.
  • Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other construction softwares
  • New construction and ground-up experience.
  • True leadership experience managing teams.
  • 1 year
    of experience in lab, k-12, education and scientific work
