Director of Human Resources POSITION PURPOSE:
Support the Human Resources Office by performing administrative duties, and customer service functions to include all aspects of the employee life cycle.
Essential Functions:
1.
Answer incoming calls to the Human Resource Office and direct them accordingly 2.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the outer HR office.
3.
Assist in the management and scheduling of appointments and interviews for the office staff 4.
Pick up and distribute mail for the HR office 5.
Log and track various programs to include Hilton Training Matrix, attendance and discipline.
6.
Assist in general word processing for office/ making flyers 7.
Assist in the creation and/or revision of forms specific to the office 8.
Develop and distribute monthly calendar of events to include birthdays, People Pleaser Luncheons and related Hotel wide activities 9.
Assist in the development of excel documents to track applications, terminations, hires, surveys and training.
10.
Maintain the filing for all personnel, medical and benefit related materials 11.
Maintain the filing for Worker's Compensation incidents and related materials including OSHA logs and other required filings.
12.
Maintain the General Files 13.
Maintain the I-9 documents 14.
Maintain supply of forms relevant to our office and its functions 15.
Maintain adequate back up of office supplies and equipment materials (i.
e.
nametag and ID supplies) 16.
Maintain supply of forms in the self-help area for in-house associates as well as supplies for the applicant area 17.
Send out in a timely manner Birthday and Anniversary cards for associates to their homes 18.
Assist with the tracking of Transfers and Promotions 19.
Assist with distribution, tracking and receipt of Associate Reviews from Department Managers 20.
Out process termination related associate items when Director of Human Resources completes their tasks with the out processing 21.
Assist in keying, mailing or any benefit processes as requested by the Director of Human Resources.
22.
Create and maintain Associate Bulletin Boards.
23.
Maintain the hiring process to include job postings, managing interview scheduling, references checks, background checks, create job offers, monitor onboarding process, and hire associates timely into the HRIS system.
24.
Prepare new hire files, conduct orientation, process new hires in PeopleSoft, and complete other new hire reporting requirements - such as referral and retention bonus tracking.
25.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Outgoing and pleasant personality 7.
Ability to maintain the image and confidentiality necessary in a Human Resource office 8.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 9.
Prior experience in Customer Service or Public Contact fields 10.
Prior experience in Human Resources preferred.
11.
Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
