Ideal Candidates would have the following prerequisites and characteristics:
Independent, self-motivated thinker.
Strong leadership and communications skills.

years experience as an Office Manager in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or retail environment.
Restaurant Experience Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Suite Knowledge of Toast Knowledge of Hotschedules Bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Organized and detail oriented.
Able to handle multiple tasks and works well in environment with time constraints.
Able to handle last minute changes
Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to all emails sent to individual and accounting emails M-F Maintain consistent daytime working hours Confirm nightly bar bank drops and replenish banks Confirm that captain and bar checkouts include correct cash drop and all signed receipts.
Inform captains and managers of any discrepancies Maintain & Reconcile daily tip log Input daily cash deposit into the AMP Sales Sheet daily and submit the Sales Sheet weekly Create bar banks for Saturday and Sunday and leave in safe on Friday at Butterbird and The Harvey House Complete weekly deposits and change orders at the bank to maintain petty cash and bar bank change reserves Audit punches daily to ensure correct clock in and out times as well as job codes Email weekly report of Food & Beverage COGS, Labor Percentage, Overtime Report and Hot List to Leadership Upload all physical kitchen invoices to AMP and PlateIQ weekly, at minimum at The Harvey House Upload all other physical and digital invoices to AMP and PlateIQ as they are received Write agenda for and take minutes at the weekly manager meetings Track fuel surcharges Track bonuses, advances, severance pay, commissions, reimbursements and PTO on the Payroll Deductions & Additions worksheet Run bi-weekly payroll on Wednesday and approve the pre-process register on Friday morning Onboard new employees in HR Alliance and Toast Maintain an up-to-date staffing compendium with all employee's contact information Track progressive discipline and participate in documentation as needed Complete and mail unemployment paperwork as received File workers' compensation injury reports and respond to requests for additional information Manage medical, dental and vision benefits for all employees and ensure that bi-weekly premium deductions are accurate.
Process new enrollments and terminate benefits for departing employees.
Keep ownership informed of any and all questionable events and issues Maintain a professional relationship with all team members and vendor Maintain physical organization of The Harvey House Office Spaces Engage in clear communication with teammates Support operations in the learning, continuous training, and use of HR and payroll software Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related projects as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
