Job DescriptionWork Schedule:
Days and Nights rotation with a weekend rotation.
Day shift hours fall between 5:
00 am- 7:
00 pm and Night shift hours fall between 7:
00 pm- 7:
00 am.
Includes additional compensation for night and weekend hours.
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
Provide care to adult clinical and research patients on the Neurosurgery General Care unit, Neuro IMC and the Neuro ICU unit.
Work in collaboration with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management.
Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including, but not limited to, the following:
minor invasive procedures (e.
g.
sutures, blood draws, lumbar punctures), pump adjustments, adjustment, application, and removal of spinal stabilization devices, reprogramming of CSF shunts, and shunt taps.
Education:
Minimum -If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Work
Experience:
Preferred - Two years of relevant clinical experience dealing with patients with neurological conditions preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensureIf Nurse Practitioner :
Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
These may include the following:
Acute Care only (Adult or Adult/Gerontology will be considered only if previous ICU experience).
If Physician Assistant :
Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active PA board certification All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have :
Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice.
This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
