is seeking a problem solver who provides top notch customer service for our Sewer & Drain opportunity.
This opportunity is responsible providing sewer and drain clearing services to customers in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
Your contributions will ensure that customers have an outstanding experience by:
Traveling to customer sites to perform sewer & drain cleaning services.
Evaluating the problem and finding an efficient solution.
Communicating the problem and solutions available to the customer.
Learning to utilize the available tools and equipment related to job duties & functions, including the high-pressure water jetter, pipe locator, and video equipment.
Performing sewer and drain cleaning service functions in a timely and high-quality workmanship manner.
Stocking and maintaining tools and materials in service vehicle required to perform job duties and functions.
Completing job specific paperwork (e.
g.
work orders) and records management.
Performing clean up functions to ensure work areas being serviced are left in a clean and orderly manner.
Promoting and marketing services to perspective customers.
This may involve duties such as leaving a company brochure and/or business cards promoting our services and office buildings, restaurants, and other establishments as directed.
Promoting and maintaining a professional image related to services needed and customer expectations.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will need:
Excellent customer service skills are required.
The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers is required.
Ability to use tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgement when communicating with customers is required.
Ability to be bonded, which requires having no criminal convictions and/or pending convictions that prevents one from accessing people's homes and/or business sites is required.
Ability to gain the basic knowledge of sewer, drain cleaning, and basic plumbing functions is required.
1-3 years of residential and commercial sewer drain experience is preferred.
Possess good mechanical skills, including working with both hand tools and sewer and drain cleaning equipment is required.
Possess basic ability to use maps and a good sense of direction required to travel to customer sites is required.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and record acceptable to our insurance carrier for operation of company provided service vehicle is required.
This includes driving our service vehicle in a courteous and responsible manner so not to distract and/or reflect negatively upon our company.
Possess good listening and diagnostic skills are required.
Ability to follow instructions both written and verbal is required.
Able to work hours required for fulfilling job duties and responsibilities and maintain excellent attendance in required.
This includes being able to provide technician services that arise outside of general business hours.
This could include company required over-time, on-call rotation, evenings, and weekends and/or holiday where emergencies warrant being able to provide services.
The ability to consistently lift 50 - 150lbs to lift and carry drain/sewer machines is required.
Basic inventory skills in terms of equipment and product needed for the van is required.
Basic math skills to complete work order documentation are required.
Able to meet and maintain department productivity, job safety, quality requirements, and meet deadlines in a timely manner is required.
Use safety equipment as needed while performing job duties and follow all procedures and policies found in the company safety manual and handbook is required.
Able to work in confined spaces, with unpleasant orders, sewage products, job related cleaning agents, solvents, bonding agents, etc.

Able to use ladders and be comfortable with heights required in performing sewer/drain cleaning service functions is required.
Ability to meet and maintain established physical and environmental job requirements is required.
