This position offers the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week and can be headquartered at 1 W Wilson Street in Madison.

Position Summary This position is responsible for working with the vaccine unit to provide support for the Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Vaccines for Adults (VFA) programs and ensuring the vaccine orders are processed in a timely manner, error free.
In this position you will:
Process vaccine orders.
Provide technical assistance to providers.
Assisting in the annual re-enrollment process for the VFC and VFA programs.
Collaborate with the other coordinators and the vaccine unit manager.
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal guidelines.
Assure that the SCHIP monies are on target monthly and annually.
Salary Information The starting pay rate is $20.
46 per hour plus excellent benefits.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction.
This position is classified as an Operations Program Associate and is in pay schedule and range 02/11.
A 12-month probationary period is required.
Job Details All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.

Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:
Experience providing program or administrative support (e.
g.
, triaging phone calls, responding to inquiries and emails, preparing written correspondence, maintaining files, customer service, organizing meetings etc.
).
Experience working with Microsoft Office products (e.
g.
, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint, etc.
) to perform duties such as creating and maintaining spreadsheets to track data, preparing written correspondence, responding to emails, etc.
Experience with vaccine inventory control procedures (e.
g.
, assess vaccine orders, follow up on shipment and distribution, etc.
) Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:
Experience working with private or protected information or data.
Experience working in a public health setting.
Experience writing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
