The person in this position is responsible for creating a highly compelling visual presentation of Lands' End merchandise that will motivate customers and drive sales through multiple selling channels, specifically supporting the Madison, WI retail market. (Prairie Town shop, Lands' End Canvas Shop & Lands' End Shop at Sears West Town)
This role is accountable for executing the visual interpretation of the design and merchandising vision each season. A strong understanding of current market trends and innovative visual approaches are required to strengthen and elevate the look of the Lands' End brand at retail. The individual in this role will be an integral member of the retail team and will assist the Dodgeville based corporate team at key times throughout the year to reach a greater understanding of themes, stories, presentations and brand heritage.
As a Visual Merchandise Market Manager you will need to work closely with cross-functional partners to drive and support key corporate merchandising strategies resulting in profitable sales. You are a steward for the brand. This role requires an ability to analyze the business and translate results into strong visual presentations. Additionally this person is accountable to train and develop field store teams to deliver strong retail presentations consistently.
KEY
Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the visual execution to deliver Brand Standard presentations. Deliver an industry leading Brand experience that brings the Lands' End brand to life in each shop. Accountable for establishing and maintaining a Brand environment that can achieve sales plans and key performance indicators in multiple shops.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven skills in driving sales growth through customer service, visual presentation and or staff development. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience in specialty retail management preferred, multi-unit management a plus. Ability to be flexible in an fast paced environment Proven ability to drive and deliver key timelines Strong understanding of market trends Some travel requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
