This job opening is for a full time Speech Therapist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) interested in a contract assignment with a school district in a lovely suburb of Madison, WI. The position would be a good fit for a local therapist looking for more permanent or stable work (contract extension or permanent hire are possible), or a traveler only looking for short term contract.
Job Description:
As a valuable member of the Special Education team, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide high-quality services to children within the school district, possibly split between elementary, middle, and/or high school kiddos between 3 different schools. Caseload may include individuals with autism, articulation disorders, apraxia, and language delay, among others.
Job Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must have a Master-s degree in audiology, speech, language pathology or an allied discipline from an accredited college or university. A Wisconsin Speech Therapy and DPI certificate must be in hand. Experience in schools is preferred, but there are other SLPs in the district to mentor and support a Clinical Fellow or a therapist with limited pediatric experience.
